Statement

Another in a series of four 10" records that I made, starting with ULP 001.

In this one, I began stripping down my recording process to quick overdub passes. Using the Ampex 8-track instead of the computer, I was not tempted to edit and fuss with the sound on tape. I found that my perception of time on a recording was also beginning to change, as I worked in a more linear, real-time fashion.

I got mad at the box while I was painting it and hit it with a hammer. This ended up being exactly what it needed.
